Boasting is a sure way to alienate those around us. When we boast, we lift ourselves above others, and ultimately, above God. Anything that we are able to accomplish for good is done by God. We steal honor due to Him when we boast of ourselves. .

If you are going to boast, boast only of the work of the Lord in your life and in the lives of others. .. so that it may be used as a testimony to draw others to Him.
