The churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea can all 'reflect our relationship with the Lord. We can be active, but lacking in love; poor in material things; undergo all kinds of suffering, yet be rich i_ heavenly things; be heretical; be led astray by false teachings; be dead in our relationship; be loyal; be lukewarm or self-satisfied. Some of these traits are good and some will lead to destruction. Let us apply the Lord's warnings to these churches to ourselves. Keeping a watch on our walk with the Lord will keep us accountable and close to Him. It takes a lot of faith and courage to fight the good fight of the faith unto the end, but the reward is well worth it!
