APPLICATION

We are called to exhort, to urge one another on to a more holy life, through love, our own example, the Word of God, and prayer. We are to exhort others, especially those closest to us, to stand firm in the faith, to persevere, to forgive, to not judge, to study the Word, to pray, to reach out to others. There is a fine line between exhortation and condemnation or harsh criticism. Do not let the enemy twist your exhortation; exhort others in love, biblically, and with much patience. Check your motivation before approaching another. Obey God, following the Spirit's leading. May God exhort you to fight the good fight of the faith and to not become weary in doing good.
