APPLICATION
You always can tell the sound of the flesh because it cries out, "I want, I want!" But the Spirit seeks what our Father in heaven wants. The enemy uses our own fleshly desires against us to lure us away from the Father, proclaiming that He has not provided enough for us. Contentment is a strong weapon against our flesh and the enemy, and a powerful witness of God's care and provision to others. When you are satisfied with what God has provided for you daily and know that He has your best in mind, the constant desire for more worldly things starts to fade away being replaced by a constant desire to please the Father. God knows your financial and emotional needs and He cares. Trust in God, your provider; and be content.
